The Development History of ema

Ideas sometimes have to ripen before they can be implemented. Already ten years ago, the clock-dependent, rigid gliding Golem assisted us in especially designed visualisations to present the planning result comprehensively, also beyond limits of language. Simulations of robots and machines deliver reliable results; the experience and estimation values of the work performance of a human being are less resilient and must be verified in implemented manufacturing processes.

Expensive rebuild measures are often the result and workers must be transferred, retrained and made acquainted again. What waste due to missing, effectively usable simulation tools! And above all, this is about an important part of the manufacturing process – the human being.

In 2006, we decided to qualify the idea step by step. After nearly three years, the concept was complete. From 2009 on, we extended our development team. Scientists of the Chemnitz Technical University took over important fundamental tasks. A consulting committee of Volkswagen AG now accompanied us in our process of development. We have strategic alliances with Deutsche MTMVereinigung e.V. and Dassault Systèmes.

At the end of 2011, the time had come – a new planning method was available for the commercial launch in form of application software!
